Solange Knowles Releases Official Wedding Photos!

Congrats are in order for newly married Solange Knowles and Alan Ferguson. As previously reported, on Sunday (November 15th) the singer/Dj and video director jumped the broom, with a New Orleans wedding.

As expected, the 28-year-old baby sister to Beyonce Knowles, had a ceremony that reflected what some categorize as eclectic and unique. Solange noted that she those involved with her wedding were close and personal to her. She told Vogue:

Everyone I worked with on the wedding are friends who I love. Everything was a labor of love.

Reportedly, Humberto Leon for Kenzo designed her wedding dress. She commissioned photographer Rog Walker to take the official wedding portraits — one of which is our favorite — an all-female family photo (including Beyonce, Tina Knowles, Janelle Monae, etc). Apparently, the photo was inspired by contemporary Italian artist Vanessa Beecroft.

She walked down the aisle to the instrumental of Donny Hathaway’s, “I Love the Lord, He Heard My Cry.” Other performances included musician friends Kelela and Questlove. See more photos on the next page.
