(EXCLUSIVE) Retired NBA Baller Kenny Anderson Avoids Jail Time, Charged w/ Violating DUI Probation
However, Anderson was pulled over by Pembroke Pines police on October 15th. According to court documentation, he was then hit with a new criminal case for driving on a suspended license which was a violation of his probation.
The state attorney then filed a criminal case against Anderson on October 23rd in Florida court. Documentation notes that Anderson decided to plead nolo contendere (no contest) to the charge, which is neither admitting guilt or innocence. Reportedly, Anderson could have been sentenced to up to a month in jail for the case. However, the judge allowed Anderson to pay fines for the incident along with restitution to the state for violating his DUI sentence terms.
