RHOA’s Apollo Nida Speaks Out From Jail, Hopes He & Phaedra Parks Avoid Divorce
Incarceration hasn’t prevented Apollo Nida from speaking out about the personal drama surrounding his marriage and what viewers see of him on reality TV.
The husband of Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Phaedra Parks is currently doing time (he was sentenced to eight years for fraud and identity theft) behind bars at the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He’s recently spoken out, sharing his perspective on his marriage (and he doesn’t want a divorce!), what life is like locked-up and maintaining his relationship with his two sons, in an interview with In Touch Weekly.
And contrary to popular belief, he knows he has work to do in the husband department, but is hoping for the best.
I’m not the best husband…I know I let a lot of people down. But I can say that Phaedra is the best wife and mom and that my children are in good hands with her.
He adds:

I guess once you’ve gotten a dose of that ‘lime light’ you just cant seem to let it go…even from prison. I feel like since he went to prison i hear about more articles and interviews he’s done. Just worry about doing your time and stay quiet.
Of course he doesn’t want to let go of wifey….besides she has Low Self Esteem.
