Art Basel, an annual art shows for Modern and Contemporary works, is currently taking place in Miami. Each year, participating galleries, exhibition sectors, etc., are provided a platform for galleries, giving them access to an international audience of collectors, museum directors and curators. The shows attract people and a few celebrities with an appreciation of modern and contemporary art who experience Art Basel as a cultural event.
This week, Miami HEAT Forward-Center, Chris Bosh hosted An Evening of Art at the Yeelen Gallery in Little Haiti. Jerome Soimaud, “I Am A Man,” was featured in a nod to relationships between father and son, and how family – by extension community – can make an impact on individualistic and stylistic choices.A tastemaker with the recent nationwide launch of the Mr. Nice Tie collection, Chris is championing creatives of various genres during Art Basel Miami week. An exclusive piece by artist Leandra Arvazzetti was inspired by Mr. Nice Tie, using fabrics and weaving ties to create a freestanding sculpture.
