[INTERVIEW] Kelly Price Requests Privacy For Bobbi Kristina, Denies Stealing Whitney Houston Tribute Event
people to pray, to respect the family’s privacy and to remember that this is a young woman that lost her mother at 18 years old and was never given the opportunity to properly mourn her because there was always [having] a camera in her face.
Also in recent news, blogger Jason Lee have been feuding with the singer, claiming that she is using the pre-GRAMMY event for her own publicity benefit and stole the idea. Price responded to this, stating:
Well, I don’t need to validate it because if you go to the Library of Congress you will see who owns it and I don’t ever need to steal anybody’s idea. God gave me my creativity. I use it the way he gives it to me, this was a platform that was created to celebrate r&b music and these artists came because I picked up the phone and called them. I will further say that the concern for Bobbi Kristina is wonderful to express and we all feel that concern but I just think that if you are going to do that, you should tell that to them. I am speaking with the family.
