Oprah, J.Hud, Cicely Tyson Attend Tyler Perry’s Baby Shower & Christening [Photos]

Over the weekend, Tyler Perry (45) and his girlfriend Gelila Bekele (28) hosted a star-studded baby shower and Christening for their newborn son, Aman. Aman’s godparents, Cicely Tyson and Oprah Winfrey, attended, along with Jennifer Hudson, Yolanda Adams, Gayle King, Smokie Norful, Vashawn Mitchell and others. J.Hud and Adams sang at the shower.

The christening was held in a Beverly Hills private church, built by Perry. Perry posted photos from the shower on Facebook, with the caption:

These pictures are from our son’s christening yesterday. Christening him in the gospel.
I had this church built in my backyard. It’s almost a direct replica of the one my Mother grew up in. It was in her honor. I know she was with us in spirit. Thank you to all our family and friends for joining us.
