(EXCLUSIVE) Lil Wayne Loses $100K In Legal Battle With Music Producer
Then on February 19th, the judge in the case came back with his decision, explaining that Cash Money was served with the legal docs back in December and has failed to respond to the allegations in court.
The order says that the music producer showed enough evidence to grant him a default judgement. The judge awarded Owen a total of $91,841, the amount Cash Money owes him from the royalty statement they sent him. The amount is also slapped with 9% interest per annum. Further, the judge ordered Wayne’s label to hand over all royalty statements following December 2012 to the music producer where the judge will determine how much MORE he will be awarded.
