(EXCLUSIVE) Ex-NBA Star Rasheed Wallace Accused of Receiving Fraudulent Money, Hit With Lawsuit
The trustee claims that the debtor – Detroit Masonic Temple Theatre – has failed to show them any evidence explaining why this money was paid to the former NBA star. They claim that the Theatre has a number of loans, obligations and unpaid bills that needed to be paid before any money was paid to other people including Wallace.
The lawsuit accused Wallace of receiving a fraudulent transfer — due to the theatre’s numerous creditors being screwed out of money that was rightfully theirs NOT Wallaces – and the trustee is demanding the return of the money ASAP. See the exclusive court docs.
