Vivica A. Fox Returns to ‘Independence Day 2’, Brandy Snags Broadway Gig + Idris Elba Lands ‘The Trap’

Vivica A. Fox has snagged her latest movie deal. The former Celebrity Apprentice star will reprise her role in the sequel, Independence Day 2. Vivica will return in her role as Jasmine Dubrow. In the original 1996 film, Vivica played the girlfriend of Will Smith, who played the role of Steven Hiller.

While Smith will not return for the sequel, the film’s new lead is Jessie Usher, who played in Survivor’s Remorse. Jessie will reportedly play the son of Steven Hiller (Will Smith).
