Raven Symone Says She Is From ‘Every Continent in Africa and Europe’, Social Media Erupts
I’m sure that you and I are both guilty of this — saying something in public that makes completely no sense. And unfortunately, it happens to the best of us. Just ask Raven Symone.
In a recent interview with E! News’ Alicia Quarles, the 29-year-old actress landed herself in a bit of controversy surrounding even more discussion about her feelings on race.
Long story short, the That So Raven actress wasn’t aware of the difference between “continent” versus “country.” [FYI: A country is a region identified as a distinct entity in political geography. A continent is one of several very large landmasses on Earth.Africa is both the world’s second largest and second most populous continent. Thanks wiki!]
While clearing the air on how she identifies herself, she says:
I am from every continent in Africa except for one AND I’m from every continent in Europe except for one.
