Tamika Fuller: I feel like Ludacris ripped my baby from me.
Tamika Fuller, the mother of Ludacris’ youngest daughter Cai Bella Bridges, is breaking her silence, literally. After loosing custody to the rapper/actor, Tamika has penned a lengthy editorial (with Madame Noire) sharing her point of view of how and why the courts sided with Luda and how their relationship began.
Ludacris’ reaction to finding out Tamika was pregnant:
The psychological manipulation began immediately. He broke down into tears when I told him that I wanted to keep our baby and he begged me to abort the child whose heartbeat was developing in rhythm with my own. He told me that it would destroy his career and his image. I contemplated heavily on terminating my pregnancy. I don’t believe in enforced parenthood or trapping anyone into raising an unwanted child. However when I visited the clinic and heard my daughter’s heartbeat on the ultrasound I knew I couldn’t go through with it.
I am fully aware that people often assume an average woman who gets herself impregnated by a celebrity is a gold-digger looking for a quick and easy payday. However contrary to popular belief, I was fully cognizant that I was going to be a single mother and I knew that he was not going to be involved in that process – I was okay with that. I went through my entire pregnancy alone and working full time with no support from him, most of the people in my circle never even knew he was the father until our trial made headlines. Deep down even though I knew he never wanted the baby, I have to be honest in admitting I was hurt that there was a real possibility my daughter’s father might not be part of her life. I thought that he would accept our daughter’s impending arrival and want to take part in the process, but I know now that thinking was naive.

If she wanted nothing to do with him raising the baby then why the child support case? seems to me had she just went and had the baby, without anyone knowing who the dad is and raised her as a single mom there wouldve been no custody hearing. with that said he needs to return that baby to her mother and stop the foolishness. you cant claim broke and be flossing all over social media. plus you now have a baby with your wife on the way, kindly return the one you didnt want in the first place
I agree,If you were working and an independent woman you shouldve went on and raised that child alone. You knew he didnt want to be involved.Although it may have been hard giving your child up after hearing the heart beat, thats what you shouldve considered.Because you wouldve been bringing a child into the world without a father. Many of us faced with this decision dont consider the child.Thats what she didnt do.So now here she sits.Im not judging ,Ive been in her situation.I did what I had to do.It wasnt easy but you really need to think about the child, not yourself and thats what she did.So now here she sits as a result of her choices.
This is an unfortunate situation but I honestly feel like she brought a lot of this on by being greedy. He offered 1800/mos but the judge ordered her 7000/mos. She said that wasn’t enough and demanded 15,000/mos and lost. I understand he is wealthy and probably could afford 15,000 but at the end of the day you are this childs mother and share half that responsibility.
My thoughts on Luda haven’t changed…I lost a lot of respect for him. He just happened to win. Good Luck to them both.
