[EXCLUSIVE Interview] Lil Mo On: Chrisette Michele Leaving ‘R&B Divas LA’; Stacy Francis Bringing Personality + Why She Attempted Suicide
On her current relationship with Chrisette:
We cool. When she’s in her element outside of the show, she’s cool, super Chris. When she’s on the show she’s real guarded because she really wants to protect her brand…We’re cool more outside of the show than on the show because she know im’ma be turnt.
Lil’ Mo on why she tried to commit suicide:
Suicide is selfish. So thinking back, it was just like, you can think you on top of the world and you have everything going for you but there’s certain things that no matter how hard you work it just seems like they won’t go away…and it was just like it had a lot to do with my personal life. It’s just like — you getting this money, you getting these shows, but it was like that doesn’t make you happy, so what will actually make you happy… you have to understand that many are called and few are chosen, to whom much is given, much is required.
On the biggest misconception about who she is:
People think I’m mean but I’m probably one of the realest. I just don’t play…
Lesson in life that took her the longest to learn:
Mo’ you gone be alright…my biggest lesson in life was to stop worrying.
On the one question she would ask God:
Why me? Why did he choose me to do this?
