Anita Baker Slammed By Singer Cheryl Lynn [Old School Beef]
Who says young folk are the only ones that come for each other’s neck on social media?
While you were sleeping, two musical legends seemed to be at ends with each other. Well actually one.
The legendary soul singer Cheryl Lynn — known best for her 1978 disco song, “Got to Be Real” — has some serious beef with the legendary Anita Baker. How do we know? Because of a vent session on Twitter.
Long story short, Anita blocked Cheryl on Twitter, which she (Cheryl) was oblivious to. Upon discovering she had been blocked, Cheryl unleashed a fury of Tweets like:
What did I ever do to you? Oh, I get it probably cuz I will sing you down on the stage is that it?
