(EXCLUSIVE) Pitbull Dragged into Akon’s $300K Legal Battle Over Music Video
Akon fired back at the allegations, explaining that he never had a written contract with Hosny – ONLY a verbal agreement. Further, he says that he was never paid $300K for the agreement and bank records show he only received a total of $145K.
He demanded that Hosny’s lawsuit be thrown out, however the judge shot down Akon’s motion to dismiss the legal battle.
Then on June 1st, Hosny filed court documents explaining who he plans to call to the stand to testify and be grilled about the facts of his lawsuit. According to the filing, he lists Pitbull as one of the people he plans on having come to the courtroom and be forced to answer questions about what exactly Akon told him was the deal for the song/music video with Hosny.
Pitbull – who is not being sued by Hosny – has now been dragged into the legal battle, despite never having signed any contracts or agreements with either Akon or the Egyptian singer.
