(EXCLUSIVE) Pitbull Dragged into Akon’s $300K Legal Battle Over Music Video
Pitbull has been dragged into the $300K legal battle between Akon and an Egyptian singer over him not showing up to film a music video and will be forced to take the stand in court — theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports.
Egyptian singer Tamer Hosny filed a federal lawsuit against Akon earlier this year. He claimed to have paid $300K to Akon to have both him and Pitbull featured on his new song along with appear in his music video.
He explained that the song was delivered with both artists, but when it came time for the video Pitbull never showed up. The lawsuit said the singer spent hundreds of thousands on the music video but Akon’s failed to hold up his promise to get Pitbull to the shoot.
