Recently, R&B heartthrob August Alsina called into with the world famous Breakfast Club Morning Show to give fans and listeners the latest on his music and a tad-bit of his personal life. The 22-year-old Def Jam recording artist shared an update on his music and why it appears he’s taking so long on his next album; the recent public beef he had with his home town New Orleans; and the latest with his eyesight.

If he is a sensitive guy:

Yeah, I am sensitive. I am just aware of whom I am and my emotions and I don’t get mad quick. You can just make me mad quickly if you do some bullshit. But I am not on that man, I am on some positive.

Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton having a huge crush on August and how that may make him a bigger star: 

Hey, you know what I don’t understand that. Like what is that about? How does that make you more of a star?  There is no other way to react. You feel how you feel I cannot stop you from that. Yeah, I do look good. Yeah, I do have a nice smile God gave me that. Thank you brother you noticed. He actually did say something like keep making those great tunes.  It is cool that what I do can translate.

His relationship with Young Thug:

Of course, I know who Young Thug is, but I do not actually know him. I saw him in the airport one time, we chopped it up. He seemed like a really good guy. I cannot really say I know him like that. I cannot really say we friends.

Why there is no reason for people to hate on him: 

I kind of feel like no one in the world should be upset with August Alsina or try to bring something my way because I do my own thing, I stay in my own lane, and I live in my own world so I highly doubt about that and if it was as a man you can bring that to the front door. I do not think it is about that at all.
