Chrisette Michele to Debut Clothing Line For Curves, Rich Hipster Belle [VIDEO]
Grammy Award winning R&B singer, songwriter and star of R&B Diva’s LA Chrisette Michele has taken a leap into the fashion world with her new clothing line, “Rich Hipster Belle”. The brand focuses on the curvy women of the world with material that will “make you feel like you don’t even have clothes on” as described by Chrisette Michele herself. The comfy and chic line will be having a soft launch event this weekend during Essence Festival Weekend in New Orleans on July 4th. Chrisette shared the news on a video blog, explaining that one of her goals of the line is to have women embrace their curves.
My goal for the clothing is for it to have universal glam appeal. It is all about girls embracing the curves and their ’’ glamerosity’’ and sort of just being comfortable in their glam space so that goes with the type of fabric all the way to the type of colors for it to be comfortable and warm for everyone who puts the clothing on.
