Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Will NOT Receive Felony Charges Over UCLA Incident
As previously reported, the incident took place when Diddy confronted the UCLA coach about a situation involving his eldest son who plays for the team.
According to reports, the coach yelled at Justin during practice (and also had an alleged history of treating him unfairly and bullying him).
No one was seriously injured in the altercation and Diddy was charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
Diddy’s reps later released a statement saying:
The various accounts of the event and charges that are being reported are wholly inaccurate. What we can say now is that any actions taken by Mr. Combs were solely defensive in nature to protect himself and his son.
The case has been referred to the City Attorney’s Office to decide on charging him with a misdemeanor.
