Will Smith Denies He’s Divorcing Wife Jada: I don’t usually respond to foolishness.
Will Smith is slamming reports that began to surface today, claiming that he and his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith were quietly splitting.
RadarOnline claimed the couple have “worked out a confidential settlement” and that they are “exhausted from trying to maintain the facade of a happy union.”
Rumors of a divorce and an open marriage have followed the pair for years.
“I’m not his watcher. He’s a grown man … I trust that the man that Will is is a man with integrity,” the “Gotham” actress recently told Howard Stern. “He’s got all the freedom in the world … and as long as Will can look himself in the mirror and be OK? I’m good.”
She added, “Here’s what’s real. I’m not the kind of woman that believes that a man’s not gonna be attracted to other women … It’s just not realistic and just because your man is attracted to another woman doesn’t mean he doesn’t love you. And it doesn’t mean he’s gonna act on it.”
The actor hopped on his Facebook, writing:
Under normal circumstances, I don’t usually respond to foolishness. (Because it’s contagious) But, so many people have extended me their “deepest condolences” that I figured – “What the hell… I can be foolish, too!”
