Sherri Shepherd Says She Was “Scared” of Her Ex-Husband Leaving
In terms of her being listed as the child’s mother earlier this year by a judge, she states:
I am appealing the ruling that happened and he gets his settlement every month. He’s happy. There nothing I can do. It’s out of my hands. You move on and I have a son. I have to take care of him so everything is good.
She adds:
As long as the people who know me, know my heart and they know my love for my son and my character and integrity. That’s all I have to stand on. As long I can look at myself in the mirror and look up and go ‘Did I do what you told me to do’ I’m good.
Sherri does reveal that she has plans to pen a book:
I do want to do a book for women about stepping past fear. I think it would help a lot of women who are in this place of being scared to walk away, but right now I am just laying low and letting time do its work.
And in other news, Sherri tells Page Six that her return to The View isn’t 100%:
I read that I was coming back, but as with all of the stuff at ‘The View,’ you never know. Nothing is true until I actually see myself on the air, at the table. You can sign a contract, but until you are actually in front of that camera, it don’t mean nothing.
