(EXCLUSIVE) Lil Wayne – Music Company Accuses Young Money of Blowing Off Court Order to Pay $91K
Further, the judge ordered Wayne’s label to hand over all royalty statements following December 2012 to the music producer, and then the judge will determine how much MORE he will award the man.
On August 6th, the Soundkillers filed new docs in the case demanding Cash Money and Young Money be found in contempt of court for disobeying the courts order.
They explain they sent off subpoenas to Lil Wayne’s and Young Money’s legal team following the judge granting them a default judgement. However, they say the lawyers have blown them off and won’t turn over any financial information about the record labels finances.
The music company also accuses Young Money of refusing to accept service of the writ of execution against their property — aka a lien to collect on the $91K they won in court. The company is demanding the judge find Wayne’s team be found in contempt and order them to hand over the financial records ASAP.
