(EXCLUSIVE) TLC’s Chili & T-Boz Only Paid $60K For VH1 Biopic
theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, TLC’s Chili & T-Boz didn’t make a fortune off the VH1 biopic on the band. In fact, the women who are members of the legendary group, were only paid $60K each for the rights to their story and to be consultants on the project — this according to court documents.
As previously reported, Perri Reid (aka Pebbles) – TLC’s former manager – sued Viacom for $40 mill claiming she was defamed by how TV movie “CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story” portrayed her.
Pebbles explained in docs that the film showed her
as a conniving and dishonest business woman who hoodwinked three innocent girls and exploited their talent for her own personal gain.
