Malcolm-Jamal Warner Says Bill Cosby Controversy Tarnishes TV Show
Malcolm-Jamal Warner is now speaking out, weighing in on the Bill Cosby controversy. “The Cosby Show” actor believes that now because of the allegations, the legacy of the hit show is now “tarnished”. Warner starred as Theo Huxtable on the hit sitcom. And as you know, there have been a number of sexual assault allegations made against Cosby. In a recent interview with Page Six, Warner states:
My biggest concern is when it comes to images of people of color on television and film, no matter what … negative stereotypes of people of color, we’ve always had ‘The Cosby Show’ to hold up against that. And the fact that we no longer have that, that’s the thing that saddens me the most because in a few generations the Huxtables will have been just a fairy tale,”
