(EXCLUSIVE) Ex NBA Star Jalen Rose Center of Controversy in Legal Battle w/ NFL Star & his Ex-Mistress
Douglas later filed a response in which he fired back at his ex claiming she suffered NO injuries from him. He claimed that they have a physical relationship for 8 months, but he never kept his marriage a secret from her.
Douglas said that he did take Davila to a hotel room on September 22nd 2013, but she became upset and decided to leave on her own. In short, he demanded the lawsuit be dismissed.
Nonetheless, the case is headed to trial in December and both parties have been filing documents in the case demanding certain information or evidence be banned from the courtroom.
According to documents filed earlier this month, Davila is pleading with the judge to not allow Jalen Rose to take the stand in the courtroom to testify. She explains that Douglas has informed her he planned to call him to testify to talk about how he introduced the two to each other and witnessed their interactions.
Davila says that the only reason Douglas wants to call Jalen to the stand is to introduce irrelevant information and attack her character to the jury. She is demanding that he not be allowed in the trial because he knows nothing about the issues surrounding the case.
