(EXCLUSIVE) Ex-New York Yankee Andruw Jones – Divorce from Wife of 11 Years Final, Following Domestic Violence Arrest

However, the divorce was dismissed that December with both seeming to want to work out their issues and continue being married.

Things clearly didn’t work out to well for the reconciliation because Andruw headed back to Georgia Court earlier this year to slap his wife with divorce papers.

Andruw filed the lawsuit on January 15th in Gwinnett County Court. The divorce seems to be as nasty as before with Nicole filing her own petition for divorce less then 2 weeks later. The two were ordered to attend a parenting seminar in regards to raising their son together.

Then recently, the judge presiding over the case finally granted the estranged couple a final judgement and decree in the divorce which means they are both officially single following years of battling in court and the domestic violence accusations.

The case was officially closed the day after the judge signed off on finalizing the divorce.
