Ciara Releases ‘Oh Baby’ & ‘Special Edition’ [New Music]

I give Ciara props for her artistry and her work ethic and she’s obviously tenacious and driven. But when it comes to her and Future, there was something that didn’t link up. Things happened very fast. Was it love, or was it lust? No disrespect, but that is life. Maybe Future felt overwhelmed and may have envisioned a simpler existence for himself while building his own career. It would have been a huge sacrifice to marry Ciara in the midst of two careers, like something made in Hollywood. Some industry folks choose not to marry their peers. The focus would have been mostly on her, which would have hurt his chances. It’s unfortunate that their breakup played out in the public, but on the other hand it did enchanc their popularity. It’s better to be silent about a break up instead of telling the whole world because it burns bridges and trust. I think that at the end of the day, she still loves him but now she won’t have a 2nd chance because she degraded and insulted him while betraying his trust . It’s like treating a real man like he’s a boy and later realizing he was a man after all.
