NBA’s Matt Barnes Writes Sweet Love Letter To Late Mother
On the anniversary of his mother’s death, NBA player Matt Barnes penned an open letter to his late mother. Barnes’ mother passed 8 years ago, after battling cancer. He has since created a foundation in her honor. In the letter, he references his twin boys (who he had with his estranged wife, Gloria Govan) and some of the recent drama he’s endured. 8yrs ago 2day I lost my best friend.. She was diagnosed w four cancer all in stage 4 on Nov 1st 2007- died Nov 27th 2007.. Not a day has passed that I haven’t thought about you.. To say this has been a tough year would be an understatement, but I stuck w my instincts… Did a few things that I know made you shake your head!! Lol Sorry but you know me & you know I’m not w the bullshit!
