(EXCLUSIVE) Rick Ross Wins In Court Against Woman Injured At Rapper’s Home
theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, Rick Ross scored a huge victory in the lawsuit filed by a woman who accused him of causing her to become bodily disfigured at his Florida home, with a judge throwing out her case and siding with the rapper.
A woman named Norbert Martins filed suit against Ross and his mother Tommie last year in Florida Court. She demanded the rapper pay up for injuries she suffered at his home.
Martins explained in her complaint, back in December of 2011, she was invited to the home owned by Rick Ross and his mom. While she was at the property she tripped and injured herself due to a iron yard enclosure hardware and its attachments being at ground level.
She said that both Ross and his mother were negligent in keeping the property safe for the guests. The lawsuit stated that due to their lack of care she was injured along with serious injuries including bodily injuries specifically disfigurement. The woman filed suit demanding damages for her hospital bills, medical and nursing costs along with the inability to earn income.
Ross fired back at the lawsuit saying he had no duty to warn the woman of any possible dangerous conditions at his home.
The rapper even said the allegations in the woman’s lawsuit were so vague and ambiguous — he didn’t know how to even respond. He demanded the entire case be dismissed and she be awarded nothing.
Then on January 14th, the judge in the case came back with his decision and sided with Ross. The order explains that he is dismissing the case after hearing testimony and reviewing the case.
