Ciara & Russell Wilson Are Engaged! [VIDEO]

Congratulations to Russell Wilson and Ciara. The two are engaged! The NFL’er shared the exciting news on Instagram, posting a video with the caption:

She said Yes!!! Since Day 1 I knew you were the one. No Greater feeling… #TrueLove @Ciara

Ciara also reposted the video on Instagram, writing:

God Is So Good! I’m So Grateful For You @DangRussWilson. You Are Truly Heaven Sent, and I’m Looking Forward To Spending Forever With You.

And she shared a photo of what appears to be his proposal.

From what we hear, Russell popped the question today, as they are currently on vacation together. The pair has remained mum about when exactly they began dating.

However, they began making public appearances together in 2015. Both have spoken publicly about how they are remaining celibate throughout their relationship, with plans to wait to have sex until marriage. In fact, Russell initially shared this news during Q&A with The Rock Church saying,

I met this girl named Ciara, the most beautiful woman in the world; most kind person; most engaging person. I could probably learn more from her; just everything I could ever want. I remember she was on tour, she was traveling and I was looking at her in the mirror. I was sitting in the dressing room and she was getting ready to go—and god spoke to me and said, ‘I need you to lead her.’ And I was like, ‘really right now?’ and he goes, ‘no I want you and need you to lead her.’

So I told her right then and there like ‘what would you do if we took all that extra stuff off the table and just did it Jesus’ way’…we’re talking about sex. For me, I knew that god brought me in her life to bless her and for her to bless me—he’s anointed both of us, I know that he is calling for us to do something miraculous. I told her and she completely agreed, ‘if we can love each other without that, if you can really love someone without that you can really love someone.’

This will be Russell’s second marriage. From January 2012 to April 2014 he was married to Ashton Meem. Ciara was previously engaged to rapper Future.
