Ne-Yo & Wife Crystal Renay Welcome Son! [Photos]

Congrats to Crystal Renay and Ne-Yo! This week, the 36-year-old Grammy-Award winning singer/producer and his wife welcomed their first child together, a son. A photo of Crystal holding their son began circulating Tuesday afternoon. According to reports, their newborn son’s name is Shaffer Smith, Jr.

Ne-Yo posted a Snapchat clip, holding his son’s hand.

Prior to delivery, Crystal posted the Instagram message below.

Ne-Yo has two other children– daughter, Madilyn Grace, 4, and son, Mason Evan, 3– from his previous relationship with ex-fiancee and former Atlanta Exes star, Monyetta Shaw. Congrats!

Congrats on the new baby. As for their marriage, I wish them well. This proof of what I KEEP trying to tell people: you cannot force a man to marry you. A man will marry who HE deems wifey material. Doesn’t matter how many kids you have for him, how good you sex him–there have to be other GENUINE things about you that make him want you. I don’t know his ex so I’m not bashing her: but when he didn’t marry her after finding out child #1 was coming, ain’t no way she should have allowed child 2–AND tied her tubes with a nekkid ring finger…
