David Oyelowo & Gugu Mbatha-Raw To Star In New JJ Abrams Film

Following the success of JJ Abrams’ science fiction psychological thriller, “10 Cloverfield Lane” Paramount Pictures has green lit another project tapped to star David Oyelowo and Gugu Mbatha-Raw, according to Variety. Julius Onah will direct new si-fi thriller “God Particle” with Abrams producing through his Bad Robot banner.

“God Particle” will reportedly follow a team of American astronauts who’ve survived the destruction of the planet and challenge reality of the world as we know it. Oyelowo is most recently known for his role as Dr. Martin Luther King in “Selma”. And most recently, Mbatha-Raw nailed her role as Will Smith’s wife in “Concussion”.  Shooting is expected to get underway this year for release on February 2017.
