‘The Michel’le Story’ Lifetime Movie — Rhyon Nicole Brown Snags Lead, Curtis Hamilton to Play Dr. Dre
Actress Rhyon Nicole Brown will star in Lifetime movie The Michel’le Story (working title) about the life of R&B artist Michel’le, according to Deadline. Curtis Hamilton will portray Dr. Dre, while R. Marcos Taylor, will play Suge Knight.
Taylor also played Knight in Straight Outta Compton.
According to the site,
The film details the life of the singer, who was discovered at a young age by N.W.A’s Eazy-E and became a platinum artist on Ruthless Records. Dr. Dre’s girlfriend for more than a decade and later married to Suge Knight, Michel’le was there for N.W.A’s wild ride, with all of its dramatic ups and down. Finally, after years of silence, she is ready to reveal her side of the story.
Rhyon is the younger sister of R&B singer RaVaughn. She made her film debut in Santa & Pete (1999) and has since appeared in various television shows. Brown has had recurring roles on shows such as That’s So Raven as Madison, on Judging Amy as Rebecca Van Exel, and most recently a starring role on the ABC Family TV series Lincoln Heights as Lizzie Sutton. In 2005, she appeared in 50 Cent’s semi-biographical film, Get Rich or Die Tryin’ as the younger version of 50 Cent’s love interest Charlene. The Michel’le Story will be produced for Lifetime by Sony Pictures Television and Thinkfactory Media.
