(EXCLUSIVE) Future Wants Ciara’s Lawsuit Dismissed, Justifies Calling Her A B*tch

theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports: Future has returned to court in his nasty $18 million dollar legal battle with Ciara, demanding her lawsuit be thrown out and explaining his tweet calling his baby mama ‘bitch’ is accurate because she is one — due to her being overbearing and controlling about him being able to see his son.
Here’s the backstory: The singer filed suit against her baby daddy Future in Georgia Court on January 21st accusing him of defamation, slander and libel. Ciara said that Future has – over the past year – published numerous false and defamatory statements regarding her which contain several misrepresentations regarding her conduct and character in relation to their son.

The singer accused her ex-fiancé of lying about her publicly to increase interest and publicity for his upcoming musical endeavors, namely the release of his upcoming album and tour. Ciara blasts Future saying he purposefully published lies about her on his Twitter account, social media and other interviews to destroy her reputation as a good mother, to diminish her brand and to impair her professional career in the entertainment industry.
The suit explained that the parties were in a highly publicized romantic relationship given their celebrity status. The two gave birth to their son in 2014 but their relationship ended around September 2014 after the birth of Future. Ciara said after numerous attempts to arrange custody, child support and visitation she had to file a claim against him in another state for support.

Following the parties’ break-up, both plaintiff and defendant embarked on new personal relationships. However, it is important to note that given Plaintiff’s celebrity status, her relationship with her current significant other became highly publicized in April, 2015, and has been a subject of media attention since that time. Plaintiff’s new significant other is also a public figure.
The singer accuses Future of exploiting her new relationship with Russell Wilson by beginning a media campaigning around June 2015 in which he used both their son and her new relationship with Russell to spread lies about her to promote his new album.
She stated that her legal team contacted Future’s lawyers demanding a retraction and apology about his tweets regarding her being a mother, but he didn’t care to respond and no apology was issued. Future didn’t comply so she headed to court and slapped him with a $15 mill dollar lawsuit along seeking $250k in attorney fees.
Future headed to court and fired back at his baby mama’s $15 mill lawsuit and slapped her with a counter-suit. He later dismissed his suit against the singer but he is still facing off with her in her lawsuit against him.
Here’s the latest: June 23rd, Future filed a motion to dismiss the entire $15 million dollar lawsuit filed by Ciara. He explains that the entire case is nonsense and nothing he said to the media or on social media was defamatory.

Future then breaks down the tweets that Ciara claimed ruined her reputation. He points out that he was asked about her new love Russell Wilson ONLY because both of them spoke about their wish to abstain from sex pending marriage. The rapper says clearly media outlets were going to ask him his thoughts.
He says all of his comments about his baby mama are opinion and not defamatory. He says that the idea that her reputation as a good mother was damaged which then had a trickle-down effect by ruining her business reputation is absurd.

In regards to his tweets containing the following statements, “This bitch got control problems ….”, “I gotta go through lawyers to see babyfuture..the fuckery for 15k a month” and multiple others, he says that he meant Ciara was a ‘bitch’ when he tweeted it due to the word meaning “overbearing”, “complaining” and “unpleasant”. He says he has a right to have an opinion on Ciara being overbearing regarding the control she is exercising over his visitation rights with their son.
The tweet regarding lawyers is also true, with the rapper saying he has had to hire lawyers to help him see his son more frequently. And the $15k a month comment was the amount Ciara was demanding he pay or she would sue him and demand $20k a month in child support.

One word for this! CHILDREN!! It’s sad for them to be this old, and fighting over what amounts to NOTHING! What an example they’re showing to people all over the world who follow them. It’s quite disappointing to see them both catfighting this way and wasting time when they could both be working to figure out how to sell records. It’s unfortunate for the kid who is involved involuntarily and caught in them middle of something so pointless. Just leave each other alone and be parents. Most importantly, be more careful who you sleep with and “call yourself” loving.
Ciara lost a HUGE endorsement deal bc of the things Future said about her. The things he’s said about her only proved him to be bitter. Why is he speaking on her sex life? So what if people asked him about it, that’s not his place to have an opinion. When you speak ill of someone and those same comments hinders someone’s livelihood, you have every right to sue them. They have a child to take care of and if Future is doing something to take money out of her pockets, she has every right to defend herself. If he cares so much about his child, he wouldn’t effect his well-being. Ciara doesn’t need to sell another record a day in her life bc unlike Future, she has MULTIPLE jobs. Her whole reason for the lawsuit had everything to do with their child and nothing to do with her.
I’m not a big fan of either one.But,I have to disagree with Ciara claim that Future was trying to enhance record sales by attacking her.Future is doing just fine with his fan base and record sales.He doesn’t need to use her for help.Personally most of Future fans could care less about her.I think she’s stretching with that claim.Im sorry but I don’t see Future doing anything to affect her reputation.Frankly,Ciara has not been popular for a while now.Her relationship with Future brought her back to the forefront to be honest.They need to drop both of there cases against one another.Focus on the raising of that beautiful baby boy.
Ciara makes most of her money in other areas. In fact, she’s extremely marketable in endorsements, such as fashion and other areas. She doesn’t need music to be her main focus anymore. Future’s comments damaged her reputation and caused her to lose a very lucrative contract. If she has proof, she has EVERY right to sue him and win. After all, he’s taking money from their son’s mouth. If he cared anything about his son, he would have shut up about and handled it privately like a real man. Ciara has never said one cross word about him publicly despite him calling her all kind of names. Ciara needs to clear her name not just to the public, but to her son.

Like I said I wasn’t a fan of either.I just didn’t agree with her saying he was using her to boost his sales.I only commented on what was viable in a courtroom.While in the street calling someone out of their name means furniture movin(fighting).In court it doesn’t count for much,That’s why I didn’t mention that.
Future knew exactly what he was doing. He did 3 separate interviews that I know of talking about Ciara while promoting his album. Also, let’s be clear, no one was really checking for him prior to his relationship with Ciara. She upgraded the hell out of him. It is never okay to call a woman out of her name. I don’t care how mad you are. I don’t blame Ciara for suing him. It may make him think twice about his choice of words next time.

A child is involved. I hope you took a clear stand against future when he spoke derogatory things of her. Interesting how women support these men. Ciara will win because those comments were defamatory.
If he cared anything about his son, he would not have made those comments. Instead of going back and forth, she sued him. That’s the way to handle this matter.
This is so stupid to me. I hope she doesn’t get a dime. Not saying whatever he may have negatively said about her is ok, but this isn’t the way to go about trying to come to common ground and raise your child together.
So what is the correct way for her to go about it? She has handled his immaturity and vile behavior with class under the circumstances. According to court documents, she reached out to him privately through her lawyers asking him to delete the tweets and issue a retraction. She even indicated her interest in entering into mediation with him to handle their custody issues. She also reached out to him to try and arrange for him to meet Russell. Future refused each and every request. So I’m always confused when people lay all the responsibility at her feet when it comes to solving their co-parenting conflict. Filing that lawsuit was the only way to deal with somebody like him who is not interested in co-parenting in a healthy way. Now that his money is compromised, he’s running scared and pretending he dropped his own countersuit for the greater good. Ciara is the only one who is thinking of the child’s best interests. She has receipts for her financial losses, so I believe she will get a substantial judgment. And there isn’t anything he ‘may have negatively said’. It is all out there in black and white. He publicly called her out of her name and dragged her, saying she is a bad mother and spilling details of their sex life. He’s a demon for that alone and I can only imagine how much worse his verbal abuse towards her is privately.

Ciara had a deal with Topshop, after Future`s tweets that business deal was quietly dissolved. That is a direct cause and effect. I’m sure Ciara lawyer is smart enough to know that it takes more than Ciara emotions to bring a lawsuit. The fact that Future counter claim was dismissed with prejudice, and Ciara case is still pending speaks volumes. I’m sure the judge in the case has viewed Ciaras claim and deemed it had enough merit to proceed to trial.
You’re right as far as cause.She may have provided enough for cause but it still has to be proven in a court of law.And as far as a lawyer taking a case.My Dear a Lawyer always wants to be paid.Just because they see a case through isn’t a sign of a definite slam dunk.You are going by third hand information.Future and Ciara know what happened.Youre going off of the words that someone wrote.Im dealing with Law not street justice,not what I think is right and not he said she said.I just know in a court of law in a liable suit you have to show proof and facts.Like I said I know from experience.And by the way I’m not some kid just arguing for the sake of trolling.Im old and grown and have experience in these type of cases.
