Keshia Knight-Pulliam Says Ex Ed Hartwell Is Abusive, Fears For Her Life & Unborn Child’s Safety
Unfortunately, things are getting uglier between Keshia Knight Pulliam and her estranged husband, Ed Hartwell. If you’ve followed the news regarding these two, then you’re aware that they have separated, but are expecting their first child together.
Publicly, both have discussed the not so nice parts of their relationship. Most recently, it was reported that Ed wanted a paternity test, questioning whether or not he’s the father. Keshia has adamantly denied that she was unfaithful during their marriage. [Click here for the backstory].
So what’s the latest? The 37-year-old actress has taken legal action, claiming that she fears for her safety and the safety of their unborn child. According to a new report, she claims that the former NFL’erĀ is violent and abusive. She’s accused him of engaging in ‘cruel treatment’ which may affect her pregnancy. Keshia alleges that he has been demeaning toward her and even yells and screams at her. She also says that she feels unsafe because they both own firearms. In short, she wants a judge to order a mental evaluation of him and wants him to stay away from her.
As previously reported, on New Year’s Eve 2015, Keshia became engaged to Ed.They were married in Pulliam’s Atlanta home on January 1, 2016. On July 17, 2016, she announced that she was expecting her first child, a girl, with husband Ed. He filed for divorce on July 25, 2016.
