D. Wade & Nick Young Baby Mamas Snag ‘Basketball Wives LA’
‘Basketball Wives LA’ continues to shake things up. The network is said to have secured TWO new cast members for season 6.
Keonna Green, the mother of Nick Young’s two children, has reportedly been cast. As you know, Keonna recently had a child with the NBA player and became pregnant while Young was engaged to Iggy Azalea.
Dwayne Wade’s baby mama, Aja Metoyer, has reportedly landed a slot as well. Aja has a three-year-old son with Wade, whom she reportedly had while the NBA player and Gabrielle Union were not in a relationship.
Shaunie O’Neal
theJasmineBRAND.com broke the story this week, that only three of cast members from season 5 will return – Shaunie O’Neal, Tami Roman and Jackie Christie.
We also revealed that Malaysia Pargo, Brandi Maxiell, Angel Love, Angel Brinks and DJ Duffey had not been asked to return as regular cast members. A few may make a few cameo appearances.

Evelyn Lozada, who was an original cast member when Basketball Wives, confirmed her return to the show saying:
I know what everything’s thinking. Everyone’s like ‘Is she going crazy? This is her going backwards.’

I’ve had several conversations with Shaunie about this and we just really want to change the direction of the show. I feel like a lot of the arguments and a lot of the story lines have kinda ya know, been done before. We really want to add substance and depth to the show.

Aja has two kids with Damon Wayans Jr. Guess they feel marketing her as Wade’s baby mama draws more attention to the show. Let the ratchet behavior continue. Not watching this show or any reality show where females fuss, cuss and fight each other for attention.
Oh yeah! Walking across a table is substance? It is BEST that Brandi and Malaysia were dropped from the cast because, they would not put up with Evelyn’s mess!
They ALMOST have the Original Old Lady Gang as cast members. They are only missing Gloria, her sister, Draya, and Jennifer. I am not watching it, done.
