Rihanna Denies Shading Beyonce: Stop putting black women against each other!
Rihanna Denies Shading Beyonce
While Rihanna may feel snubbed by the GRAMMYS, she is absolutely NOT shading Beyonce. On Tuesday (December 6th), she made headlines after liking a fan’s Instagram post that noted she was snubbed. It also appeared that there may have been some shade directed toward Beyonce’s “Lemonade” album. See the post that RiRi ‘liked’ below.
However, Rihanna says that it’s all love and she didn’t actually read the caption before hitting ‘like’. Furthermore, she isn’t a fan of folk putting black women against each other. She writes:
I never actually read your caption, thought the pic was funny and moved right along! Til I seen it pop up over and over! I’m petty af, yes. But this is just unnecessary! I wish y’all would drop this topic and see things from the bigger picture! We don’t need to be putting black women against each other! We deserve to be celebrated, and the Grammy Academy agrees!
