Mariah Carey Is NOT Giving Back Her $10 Million Engagement Ring
Mariah Carey Keeping $10 Million Engagement Ring
Should a woman return her engagement ring if the engagement is called off? Absolutely not according to Mariah Carey. During a recent interview, Mariah hinted that she had no intentions on giving her engagement ring back to her new ex fiance Australian billionaire James Packer.
The massive 35-carat engagement ring is estimated to be worth $10 million. And when asked if she “planned on giving it back,” Carey replied coyly,
Why?
Carey and Packer dated for a year before becoming engaged. They split up this fall. The 46-year-old star, who is rumored to be now dating her backup dancer, admits that it’s weird watching footage about planning her wedding on her E! reality show, “Mariah’s World.”
This is stuff that happened in my life, for real. I just don’t want to put anybody in the position where they have to look at something they don’t want to see. And it’s hurtful. These are actually, like, real moments and so it was something that I really…[sigh] how do you talk about it?
She added
it’s so fresh. It kind of just happened.
But admits,
I believe that if it was supposed to happen, it would’ve happen.
P.S. Should Mariah give her engagement ring back?
