BET Will Not Renew Kelly Rowland’s Show “Chasing Destiny”
Kelly Rowland’s “Chasing Destiny” Not Renewed
Well, there’s good news and bad news. The bad news is “Chasing Destiny” will NOT return for a second season. The BET docu-series, Chasing Destiny, was produced by singer Kelly Rowland. The premise of the show was to form her a girl group. 5 women were chosen. Unfortunately, the network will not give the series a second season.
However, the group is STILL together. According to their creative director, Frank Gatson, the girls need a hit song. There three singles, Lance, All Of Us and Alright didn’t do much in terms of sells. They’re currently touring with R.Kelly. Frank explains:
We must find a hit song. Send one if you have it. A lot of people don’t know who June’s Diary Is.
