It appears Chrisette Michele is taking her talents to Washington, DC. The soulful singer is reportedly confirmed to sing at Donald Trump’s inauguration. Over the weekend, we reported that she had been invited.

Reportedly, she was first asked to perform the song “Intentional” with singers Travis Greene, Jonathan McReynolds, and Tye Tribbett. Tye and Jonathan declined the invitation. However, according to sources, Michelle agreed to sing as long as she could perform an R&B set. Chrisette has yet to comment on her attendance, but her performance is said to be “a big secret” because her team fears the backlash.

She is making whatever decision is best for her. I don’t agree with it but a lot of people don’t have an issue with him and will do whatever for the right amount.
I support her right to do it, but there will be a backlash. Don’t get upset when thousands of people who have bought your records (including me) don’t support you anymore. That will be our right. ijs
If this is good for her, then I wish her the best. We won’t be able to stop blacks from embracing Trump. That’s life. Not all slaves were upset with slavery and loved their slave owner. Raging against the evils of Trump won’t keep all blacks from loving him too. I don’t really seek out her music anyway.
