He also confirmed that Bey will perform during the Grammys (on February 12th).

I was like, ‘Are you OK?’ because she sounded a little tired because she has been working on the GRAMMY performance. And we just had a wonderful daughter-dad conversation.

As previously reported, after the pregnancy news hit, Mathew posted a video saying:

Thank you for your blessings and your well wishes. I’m the happiest grandfather in the world. Congratulations Beyonce and Jay.
