theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, Spearmint Rhino is accused of screwing over strippers by never paying them in wages & forcing them to cut them off their lap dance profits, along with forcing them to hawk merchandise to patrons during lap dances. The club has been hit with a class action lawsuit demanding they pay up for years of back pay.
A woman named Adriana Ortega filed the class action suit on behalf of all current or former strippers who worked at The Spearmint Rhino Companies in federal court.
She explains the club hired strippers as an independent contractor dancers, but they were forced to follow their rules. In order to perform their jobs, they were required to pay significant “house fees” and were never paid a dime or minimum wage by Spearmint Rhino in violation of the law.
