Chance The Rapper Addresses Baby Mama Child Support Drama [VIDEO]
Chance The Rapper On Baby Mama Child Support Drama
Chance the Rapper is taking to social media, to (sorta) address reports about an alleged child support feud with his child’s mother.
Today, the 23-year-old rapper posted a video with his two-year-old daughter Kensli and baby mama Kirsten Corley. In the clip, Chance says,
Just a friendly reminder: don’t let anybody get between you and your family.
He adds,
Don’t be afraid of what people are saying about you. Do your job and everything will be fine.
Check out the clip.
According to Sandra Rose, Chance is asking a judge to grant his ex-girlfriend minimum child support because she is able bodied and “capable of full-time employment”. The site reports:
Their 2-year-old daughter Kensli is old enough to attend daycare while her mother works full-time. The rapper, whose real name is Chancelor Bennett, recently separated from Kirsten Corley and they are in the process of establishing separate residences. Chance, 23, also asked the court to seal his personal information from the prying eyes of gossip blogs. Despite asking the judge to grant Corley minimal child support, Chance’s lawyer assured the court that he isn’t expecting his child to live like a pauper while he lives lavishly. In June, Corley dropped her petition for a more formal parenting schedule for their daughter. She reportedly withdrew the petition in June after she and Chance got back together.
Despite this report, it appears that all is well between Chance, Kirsten and Kensli.
