Amber Rose May Lose ‘Ace of Diamonds’ Strip Club, Judge Shuts Down Request
Amber Rose May Lose ‘Ace of Diamonds’ Strip Club
Amber Rose may lose her new strip club, ‘Ace of Diamonds’. In February, we broke the news, that the 33-year-old model and talk show host purchased popular Los Angeles strip club, Ace of Diamonds. She announced,
I was a stripper for a very long time. Best time of my life, by the way. But do y’all know ‘Ace of Diamonds’? Well, I bought it.
Check out the clip below.
Shortly after announcing that she had purchased AoD, SKWS Enterprises, the owners of AoD stated that her comment about purchasing the strip club was “unequivocally false”. They denied that the venue had been sold and were reportedly suing Amber $1 million for slander.
Meanwhile, Amber’s camp stated that she had documentation and reportedly formed a corporation called Ace of Diamonds, Inc. She also filed for a trademark and the trademark will be for “entertainment services in the nature of live dance performances” and “gentlemen’s clubs featuring exotic dancing.”
So what’s the latest? Reportedly, her request to obtain the rights of the Ace of Diamonds name, has been denied. According to a report, the application was rejected because it would cause confusion in the marketplace, since an AOD and Ace of Emeralds already exists. She has 6 months to reapply with a more compelling argument.
Amber has yet to respond. However, earlier this week Amber posted a Casting Call for hostesses and waitresses.
