R.Kelly Snags Bill Cosby’s Lawyer, Monique Pressley
R. Kelly has officially lawyered up! The singer, who has been accused of keeping young women in a sex cult, has reportedly secured attorney, Monique Pressley.
Pressley is well-known for recently representing Bill Cosby, along with her regular TV appearances as a legal contributor.
Last August, the DC based attorney stepped down as a member of Cosby’s legal team in his sexual assault case. At the time, Cosby was repped by her firm (The Pressley Firm PLLC) and she was the lead attorney.
The Pressley Firm PLLC specializes in civil litigation, crisis management and communications. Last week, R.Kelly made headlines after being accused of holding young women in a ‘sex cult’ at a number of his homes in both Chicago and Atlanta. [Click here for the backstory].
He is currently repped by an attorney named Linda Mensch, who denies allegations. Pressley has not confirmed whether she’s repping the singer.
