Suge Knight Made Death Threats Against Director F. Gary Gray, Indicted
Suge Knight has found himself in more legal trouble. The 52-year-old former Death Row founder has been indicted by a LA County Grand Jury on felony criminal threats.
He has been accused of making threats at F. Gary Gray, the director of “Straight Outta Compton.” According to a report, Suge allegedly made the threat during the filming of the movie, but months before he killed a man involved in the production by driving over him in a Compton parking lot.
The Grand Jury indictment reads,
On or about August 8, 2014, Suge … threatened to commit a crime which would result in death and great bodily injury to Felix Gary Gray.
Suge was said to be unhappy with how he was portrayed in the movie and he allegedly sent Gray the threat by text. Suge is scheduled to be arraigned on the charge Thursday.
**UPDATE**
On Thursday, Knight pleaded not guilty to threatening Gray. His defense attorney Matthew Fletcher, stated:
“There is certainly no evidence he sent any texts threatening him.”
