Bieber Talks Strained Friendship with Mayweather

Justin Bieber is ready to explained his rumored friendship spat with Floyd Mayweather Jr. Last month, prior to the anticipated Mayweather-McGregor fight, reports surfaced that the singer unfollowed Mayweather on Instagram. Tension was also noticed when Bieber predicted Mayweather’s defeat in his upcoming fight, sparking the professional fighter to call Bieber a traitor. Mayweather addressed  their rumored rift telling Hollywood Unlocked,

Justin Bieber is at a point, he’s in a place right now, that he’s focused on church, he’s focused on his new team, he’s focused on the Lord, and the only thing I can do is give him the utmost respect. To each his own. I’m not here to be negative and talk bad about anyone.

Meanwhile, Bieber responded, explaining

Nothing against Floyd. We just need to create boundaries and stuff when it comes to certain things.
