Diddy: I was only joking. I didn’t change my name.

Diddy is still Diddy! Reports of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs changing his name to Love (aka Brother Love) have proven to be false. On his 48th birthday, the music mogul announced that he had changed his name.

However, he now says that he was just joking. Clarifying his fake name on social media, he told his followers,

Well, ladies and gentlemen, today I’ve come to the conclusion that you cannot play around with the internet. Due to overwhelming response from the media out there, and just due to there not wanting to be any confusion. I was only joking. Okay? I didn’t change my name. It’s just part of one of my alter egos. One of my alter egos is Love.
