Xscape Is Recording New Music Without Kandi

One influential voice will be missing from new Xscape music. During the group’s appearance on Watch What Happens Live!, the group announced that they are currently in the studio working on new music. However, Kandi Burruss has no plans to participate at this point. Addressing why she’s not recording with the group, she says,

Well, I’m going to be doing some other things.

When probed by other members to further explain, Kandi responded,

I mean, I’m going to do Broadway and some other things and they’re going to be working on music.

And when asked if everything is good with the group, Kandi admits,

We [having to] rehash or whatever; whenever certain subjects come up of course, we bump heads on some stuff.
