Evelyn Braxton – I Had To Barricade Myself From Vincent While He Abused Tamar Braxton
Evelyn Braxton Barricaded Herself In A Room While Vincent Abused Daughter
Evelyn Braxton, Tamar Braxton’s mother, continues to speak out with allegations that her daughter was physically abused by her estranged husband, Vincent Herbert. While appearing on Sister Circle, Evelyn recalls an incident where she was staying overnight in their home.
She says that she woke up to noise and when she entered the room where the noise was coming from, Vincent was abusing Tamar. She says she confronted him, telling him
No, no, no. This is not what we do and he turned on me.
She says she ran back to the room and barricaded herself in.
I put a chair behind the door. I barricaded myself.

This isn’t the first time Evelyn claimed Vincent abused Tamar. Earlier this month, Evelyn stated that she feared for her daughter’s life, saying,
I don’t really have anything to say to Vince, only one thing — keep his hands off my child. Stop before he hurt her or kill her. I love Vin, but I don’t want him to kill my child, as simple as that…stop.
She also spoke about the alleged abuse during a radio interview. See the clip below.
As previously reported, last month, Braxton filed for divorce from Herbert, citing “irreconcilable differences” and is seeking joint custody of their son. Tamar has yet to address rumored abuse claims.
