Oprah – ‘CBS This Morning’ Wants Her To Replace Charlie Rose
Will Oprah make her return to the morning news? Years ago, the media mogul got her start as a reporter on the news in Chicago. Fast forward to the present day and there reports that “CBS This Morning” is interested in having Oprah fill in for Charlie Rose.
This week, Rose was fired, following a sexual harassment scandal. Sources say that the network wants Oprah to fill in temporarily until Christmas.
The morning show’s current anchors are Gayle King, who is best friends with Oprah, and Norah O’Donnel. Winfrey currently has a gig with CBS’ “60 Minutes”.
She has yet to comment on reports of her filling in for Rose.
